Bomberger's Store began business in 1887 when Phares Bomberger bought-out the owners of a trading post. This trading post was located in the village of Elm, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A new store was built on the property eighty-five years later to create more space for its expanding business. In November of 1994, the store moved to its current location in Lititz, PA approximately two miles from its founding location. This location is more accessible as well as larger, with 64,000 square-feet of retail floor space.

At Lititz, Bomberger's Store contains Flooring, Lawn & Garden and Hardware departments. The family-owned and operated business is "dedicated to the things that last".
