ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – DESIGN
This part-time position will
perform administrative activities for the company, primarily in support of the
Design Center back office.
Responsibilities include assisting in the order entry and billing
processes, collecting and maintaining new email addresses, contacting customers
with information about appointments and orders, and answering a multi-line
switchboard for the store. In addition to excellent customer service skills,
qualified candidates must have 6-12 months prior experience in an
administrative or similar position; intermediate computer skills which include
proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong administrative skills,
including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks from multiple sources;
the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with accuracy; and the ability
to work with frequent interruption and meet deadlines. The position will work
20-24 hours per week, including a half day every other Saturday.
This is a
part-time position working approximately 25 hours per week, with hours on days,
evenings and every other Saturday. This
position is responsible to assist the division by helping customers, stocking
shelves, loading merchandise, placing sale and bin tags, performing inventory
activities, and processing special orders.
The position may also set up merchandise for the sales floor or delivery. Qualified candidates must have basic computer
skills, the ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to
100 lbs.; excellent communication skills; and the ability to complete tasks
with significant interruption. Prior
customer service or retail experience helpful.
This is a part-time position working approximately 20
hours per week, including evenings and some Saturdays. The position is responsible to provide
service to customers with painting and other home projects; mix paint using
computerized system; stock shelves and assist in maintaining department. Position requires excellent customer service
skills, including ability to listen and ask questions to recommend proper products;
basic computer skills; and the ability to work with color. Additional requirements include ability to
spend majority of shift moving through department and/or assisting customers at
counter; routinely lifting cans of paint and product weighing 10-12 lbs and
occasionally lifting up to 60 lbs.
This is a part-time
position working 15-22 hrs/wk with a schedule that is primarily day shift and
includes 1 evening every other week and limited Saturdays. The position is responsible
to assist customers in our café. This includes taking orders from customers,
preparing and serving food, using a computerized cash register to process
transactions, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area and
following all regulations and policies related to the safe handling of
food. Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service
skills, basic computer skills and the ability to regularly lift/move up to 25
lbs. Prior food service experience is helpful.
